Want to Add Images to Airtable Forms? Here’s What You Should Know
You are creating a form in Airtable to collect shirt sizes from your team. You want everyone to see the jacket they are ordering before they pick their size.
So you start looking for a way to put an image inside the form.
You plan to upload an image next to the question or show image options and ask users to select from them.
But as you try, you realize Airtable does not give you the option to add images inside the form.
The Airtable form is very limited. It only lets you add one cover image at the top and one logo. That’s it. Nothing in the body of the form.
So what can you do if you want to include images in your form?
Use third-party forms
The only way to add images directly into the body of a form is to use a third-party tool.
Fillout is the most popular option. It connects to Airtable easily and gives you far more features than Airtable’s native form.
With Fillout, you can add individual images or GIFs inside the form. You can turn a question into a picture choice where each option is shown as an image. You can also add a background image to set the theme.
This makes it possible to show the jacket design and then ask people to choose their size. Or display three product images and let someone pick which one they want.
