A fitness repair services company was spending hours every day manually visiting UPS and FedEx websites to check tracking numbers for replacement parts. Manually updating each status in Airtable was time-consuming and error-prone.

I built a custom automation that fetches tracking status several times per day and updates the Airtable base automatically, intelligently reducing API usage by:

• Checking delayed shipments only once per day instead of multiple times
• Stopping checks entirely for delivered packages
• Pausing checks for shipments that have not started moving yet

The automation gave the team accurate, real-time tracking inside Airtable while keeping API costs low. It eliminated hours of manual work and made the entire repair workflow significantly smoother.

An organisation running training programs for EMDR therapists was managing instructor availability, facility options, and event scheduling in Google Sheets. This led to confusion, missed details, and difficulties coordinating multiple moving parts.

I designed a comprehensive Airtable base that centralised their entire workflow:

• Connected Airtable forms for instructors to submit their availability
• Centralised view showing all instructor responses in one place
• Built an automation to sync events from their third-party platform into Airtable
• Simplified the process of matching training sessions with instructors and resources

The team gained a clear, reliable system that eliminated manual data entry and reduced coordination errors. They could now manage schedules with complete accuracy and significantly less effort.

Motoring Research was moving years of automotive spreadsheet data into Airtable and needed the base to support detailed vehicle specifications, model relationships, calculated fields, and easier ways to enter new cars over time.

I rebuilt the base around how automotive data actually works: manufacturers, models, variants, specifications, status, and calculated values all separated cleanly instead of living in one flat sheet.

• Rebuilt the data model with separate Make, Model, and Vehicle tables instead of one overloaded list
• Connected each vehicle variant to the correct make and model, with fields for year, status, specifications, and identifiers
• Built the calculation layer for BIK, CO2 bands, charging time, EV range, price factors, and vehicle names
• Created working views for reviewing models, checking records, and entering new vehicle data more comfortably

Richard's team now has one organised place to manage vehicle makes, models, variants, specifications, and calculated values. The base is easier to update, easier to audit, and better suited for ongoing automotive research than the original spreadsheet.

Maverick needed a base that could follow a construction project from bid tracking through active work and closeout. The system had to handle jobs, crews, equipment, schedules, contract review, operations checklists, change orders, documents, and field reporting without turning into a scattered set of tables.

I designed the project architecture first, then built the core Airtable base around the way Maverick actually runs jobs:

• Built the job workflow from bid calendar to awarded job, active construction, and closed project
• Created Contract Review and Operations Checklist templates with parent-child structure and job-specific checklist records
• Added automations that create checklist items automatically when a new job is added
• Structured Look Ahead scheduling, crew assignments, equipment usage, change orders, documents, JHAs, and daily reports around the Job record

Maverick now has a central operations base where each job carries its schedule, checklist progress, assigned people, equipment, documents, change orders, and field records. New projects start with the right review and operations checklist already in place.
