Your Airtable comments.
Out of the app.
Into a spreadsheet.

Airtable buries every comment inside individual records; there's no way to see them all at once or export them. Comment Exporter pulls every comment out into a clean CSV or JSON file in seconds.

Customer feedback from last week; see attached notes.

What it does

Every comment out of Airtable.
Organised and searchable.

Export every comment at once

Stop clicking into each record to read its comments. Get every comment from an entire table or your entire base in one export.

Filter by date, author, or keyword

Need comments from a specific person, time window, or containing a specific word? Filter before you export; only get the comments you actually need.

CSV and JSON export formats

Export as CSV for spreadsheets, reporting, or sharing with non-Airtable users. Export as JSON for developers, automations, or data pipelines.

Includes replies and threads

Comment threads are exported with context intact. Each reply is tied to its parent comment so the conversation stays readable in your spreadsheet.

How it works

Four steps.
Under a minute.

01

Connect your base

Select the Airtable base and the table whose comments you want to export. Works with any base you have access to.

02

Set your filters

Narrow by date range, commenter name, or keyword. Or skip filters entirely and export everything; your call.

03

Export comments

Click Export CSV or Export JSON. Your file downloads instantly: no waiting, no queue, no email delivery.

04

Use your data

Open in Excel, Google Sheets, Notion, or pipe it into any reporting or automation tool. The data is yours, clean and ready.

What people say

Teams that finally
got their comments out

We use comments for every product launch to gather team feedback. Comment Exporter lets us pull it all into a sheet, filter by author, and review everything in one place. We use it every single week.

Olivia Martin
Urban Flow

Filtering by date makes our monthly review so much easier. I export two months of comments, open the CSV, and everything's already organized. Saves me at least a half day each month.

Aaron Patel
Bright Layer

We use Airtable comments for client approvals and compliance sign-offs. The CSV export is exactly what our auditors need: timestamped, attributed, and clean. It's been a genuine lifesaver.

Common questions

Before you get started

Can I export comments from specific records, or only entire tables?
Both. You can export all comments from an entire table at once, or switch to specific-record mode and choose exactly which records to pull comments from.
What does a credit count as?
Each exported comment uses one credit. If you export 50 comments in one session, that's 50 credits. The free tier gives you 100 credits: enough to test the tool with real data before deciding whether to upgrade.
What export formats are available?
CSV and JSON. CSV is ideal for spreadsheets, reporting, and sharing with people outside Airtable. JSON is better for developers, automations, and integrating comment data into other tools or pipelines.
Is my Airtable data secure?
We use read-only API access to your Airtable data and never store your comments or base data on our servers. Exports happen in your browser session and are downloaded directly to your device.
